Meditation for Palestine will offer the early riser a unique opportunity to simply sit with the people of Palestine in body, mind and heart. Beginning each day at 7:30am and formally ending at 9am. There will be chairs and some mats and cushions will be available. If people need to go to work or slip out before the end they can be easily facilitated and should come along. No formal experience necessary, all welcome.

On Wednesday, Thursday and Friday morning Vajrashura  will explore two forms of meditation, the mindfulness of breathing and the cultivation of loving kindness. Vajrashura is a member of the Triratna Buddhist Order, and manager of the Dublin Buddhist Centre.  He is one of the main meditation and Buddhism teachers in the Dublin Buddhist Centre, and is passionate about the possibilities for change that meditation can offer people living in the modern world.

The documentary reveals the lives of ordinary Palestinians, struggling with the oppression of occupation and how their yoga and meditation practice helps them find inner peace in the midst of that stress.
